Who on Earth created this stuff?

I am talking about moon sand. I have to admit I am not a big fan of it. It's fun for a bit but turns in to a powdery mess all over my house. It's look good on the commercial, but buyers beware!

My kids of course disagree so on occasion I give in to the pleas and get it out. The most annoying part is how long it takes to set up versus how long they sit and play. The latter doesn't even come close! In by attempt to keep it contained, I tape down a plastic party table cloth on the tile and let the kids have their fun. I guess in the end it IS all worth it to see the smile, even if it only lasts a minute :)

Lilly decided she wanted to join in the fun too!

And this is the wonderful mess I was referring too.

Visit to Kokomo

Monday Caleb an I took a trip to Kokomo to visit my mom and friend. Although I'd seen my mom the night before, I know how much I am going to miss her once we move so I am going to soak as much time as I can.

Since getting my iPhone, I have decided to pass my iPod to her. Didn't have it very long and knew she enjoyed it, this entailed me to set it up for her. Not a big request considering how much she has done for me!

After visiting with my mom, Caleb and I stopped at BK for lunch, before visiting Janae. This is a special treat for Caleb, it also one that has been over used lately. Caleb is the big eater of the house and today he was double fistin!

It was a wonderful visit with Janae considering I haven't seen little Ellie since she was a baby!

Another reminder of all the people I am going to miss but I have to keep telling myself that God is in control and has a plan for us.

Beautiful day outside

We had a beautiful weekend! It was warm with a hint of a breeze, and the best part was that Zach was feeling good enough to enjoy it. The sunshine had some to do with it, but I am guessing finally using the restroom, played the biggest rule. (pardon me for bringing up poo, but goodness knows he needed to get all the air out before he could feel better!)

I decided to surpirse my husband by doing some gardening. It was a lot of fun but kinda sad to know that some other family would be enjoying the rewards.

Zach's potted plants, so proud if his work

Zach took care of the weeds and I worked on mulching.

Couldn't have asked for a better day, except of course to have had my other boys with us.

My first blooms!!!!

On the mend...

Well I am glad to say that Zach is feeling better today. He actually got off the couch an wanted to go outside to play.

We went for a walk, found a friend, and hit some garage sales. Looks like be is finally on the mend. So far today, no fever. He woke up last night in a heavy sweat, must have broke then. Don't care, just very glad it did!
X-ray yesterday was good again, just showed a lot of trapped gas still in his colon. Guessing the walking today will help.

Zach is home

Zach was allowed to come home from Riley at 11am today.

He is still not feeling to par, but hopefully will feel better soon. Riley was so good to him. He got a new blanket and a bag full of toys to stay entertained with.

Hopefully he will be feeling better soon.

Update #2

The doc went ahead an ordered an x-ray to check for air in places that it shouldn't be. He wants him to stay the night for observation. Poor guy!

Update

Zach came back around 2. He was pretty upset and his tummy was hurting. It was awful! The doc said that his colonoscopy was a lot harder than expected and that he was scraped up quite a bit. They took biopsies from his esophagus down to tummy and some in his colon. We will have to wait for results.

They finaly gave him some gas medicine bc he was in so much discomfort. Apparently the longer it takes the more gas is let in. He also is bleeding in toilet from colonscopy and throwing up. Not at the planned events following the procedure. Luckily he has fallen asleep as I type.

Zach's procedure

Well we go here to Riley about 10:30 and his procedure was set for noon. Riley is so awesome and brought in a game cube to play.

Caleb was very well behaved too. They brought zach some sleepy anti-anxiety meds and he was pretty loopy!

Any then he was off, what a trooper!

Wow! Been a long time!

Well let's see, where do I begin. We are moving to California in June, wow huh?! I am excited and scared at the same time. New start :) all alone :( 4 boys with no help :/ sunny beach :) skiing in the mountains :) I could go on and on. God has a plan for us though and I ahve to trust that.

Zach and I went I SC for spring break, just us. Michele has the boys and andy had to work. It was a lot of fun. Got to see family and friends, go to beach, and relax.

We got home and I've been steadily trying to get the house ready to sell. Please pray it does, it's pretty stressful not knowing where we are going to live in Cali bc we can't buy till we sell. Looks like we are going to rent for a while there.

We have definitely enjoyed the sunshine, when it's out that is.

Then on Saturday, my poor baby Lilly was attacked by 2 unleashed neighborhood dogs while she was on her leash. She sustained 2 pelvic fractures and soft tissue damage. Luckily she will be able to heal at home after an overnight in ICU and eval by orthopedic surgeon.

Then yesterday the boys came in with a surprise, a nest with robin eggs! Apparently it blew out of the tree during the storm. They are so sure that they will hatch.

Well I think I've filled you in enough for now :). Here are some new good pics of me and the boys, except for ash bc he didn't want his taken.
