Indians Game

Last night was a blast. We went to an Indians game paid for by Andy's work (he may travel a lot but there are many perks to his job as well). We got there about 5:30, ate dinner (also paid by Andy's work), played on the hill, walked around, and then watched the game. Along with my family, we also brought along my nephew Alex. He is a BIG baseball fan, at only age 3. Everywhere he goes he brings his baseball backpack, packed with all his gear- catchers mask, mit, ball, bat, and shoes. He is really a riot!

Been a while

Well it's been a while since I got on here so I figured it was time I stopped for a minute and chatted ;)
Its been a crazy couple of weeks. Andy was in Colorado last week and in Cali this week. He gets home TOMORROW and I cannot wait! It is still so shocking to me how happy I am ;) I never thought I would ever find love like this!
Football is still going strong although we have not had a game yet. The boys still enjoy it although Ashton is getting a little wore out. Caleb and I have been spending our afternoons running errands, going to the parks and libraries, and cleaning house - he is a very big helper.
We got to eat lunch with the brothers last week at school, which was big fun for Caleb. They can be so goofy sometimes, especially
especially around their friends.

Football has begun....

Tonight started another frenzied chapter in my life- running the boys to practices and games! It's not too bad though, they all practice at the same time on the same field and Caleb plays at the park. Keeps them active and from arguing about who is gonna play with who or what we are going to watch on tv ;)

Last minute summer fun

We went and had lunch at Aunt Pam and Uncle Dave's house today. The minute we got there, all the kids were dying to go out on the lake. (not that I blame them, I love boating as well ;) )

Mallory (left), Xander (right), and
Zachary all got to take a turn at driving the boat. What fun for 7-3 year olds!

This is a video of Zachary knee boarding a while back, I forgot to post it though. He did an awesome job! Got right up on his knees the first try and stayed on the whole time. What a natural!

My babies are growing up!

Today was the first day of school for this year, a day filled with excitement and sadness. The boys of course were very excited. We met Collin and Zach's teachers last night and Ash kept the same teacher, Caleb has one year left at home with me :-) I was both excited and sad. My babies (well the youngest school agers) are in 2nd grade! So hard to believe! Time flies so fast, before you know it we are going to have the boys at 3 different schools, one in the middle, two in elementary, and one in primary! Then comes high school- AHHH!
They all had very good days today, and of course to make all the better, no homework. I am so glad that I have the opportunity to stay home and savor the moments with my wonderful boys while they are young, you can never get the time back and you can never re-create the memories once they are grown. I want them to remember that I was always there for them; at school functions, helping out in the classroom, coming to lunch, and here when they got home to help them with school-work. It may not be the easiest job, and like my favorite song says, "it doesn't pay overtime" but I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Our new addition ~ Lilly

Sweet Lilly, at 2 weeks old
6 more to go before we bring
her home :)

Aww, how precious is she!

Look how tiny!
She has a lot to grow still though,
her older brother is about 15 lbs,
just right for the bouncing boys ;)

My baby is 7!

Well Zachary celebrated his birthday at our house this year, with having 4 boys you have to take turns or we'd have to get a second mortgage to cover the parties ;) He chose the theme army and surprisingly, it was very cute! His grandmother Colleen took him shopping for the decorations and party favors, lot of fun for a grandson and a wonderful tradition that Colleen started with all of the other boys. This way she knows how to decorate the cake (hers are awesome~YUM!)

He returned with face painting kits, little army men, parachute men, squirt guns, hero badges/necklaces, and tank bubbles. Needless to say, the kids had a blast!

It was a very big turn-out as well, 34 peeps in one house! Thank you to all who could make it, we all really enjoyed having you here. The brothers were dearly missed, I am still upset that they were not returned in time to share in the fun of their brothers party, especially since this was the first year Zach celebrated a birthday with brothers. I do believe that this was Michelle's way of showing me how little she cares about me or my son :( I cannot wait for the drama to settle down.

All in all, it was great fun and Zach made out like a ban-chie, thanks all!!

Birthday morning, Getting his treasured DS ;)
