Halloween

Last night, the night before halloween, we dressed the boys up and made the family round. Some of them were not going to be in town tonight so our family and my sister-in-law's family got together and went to grandparents houses and a couple of the aunts in the area. It was a lot of fun, plus we won't have to do as much running tonight ;) Here are the pics of the boys, quite an interesting aray of characters!

Well Shana, I am very glad that you joined the game and that I saw yours, looks like fun. I too was very confused about the files thing until I read Carries post and realized I could do the same thing. My uploader puts my pics into folders. It was kind of hard to find the fourth still because I wanted to do one from 2007 and 2008. I don't keep all my pics on my computer so this is what I came up with. Still kinda neat how they turned out ;)

Chicago Trip

Well i feel I need to elaborate on the last picture. That was taken in Chicago! Luckily I don't have to worry about rats in my home~ WHEW!!

Anyways, I had a blast! You don't realize how much you've missed someone till you spend some time with them again. Plus, it was kind of like visiting the fountain of youth, I felt like I was young again lol! We didn't do a whole lot, but it was nice just relaxing, reminiscing, and laughing!

Fun with mommy - day 2

Tonight Zach and I had the evenings to ourselves again. Weird having a quiet house but I know its good for Zach to have alone time with me- the boys have 2 moms but he just has me.
Tonight we made a car track out of a cardboard box that Andy brought home from work. He is such a creative kid! The other day I went up to his room and he had created a pulley system so that he could get stuff when he was in bed. I am hoping that some day this engineering mind of his pays off- lol.

Roasting Weenies

Last night the boys were at their moms, andy was out of town, so Zach and I had the evening to ourselves. I love the time I have with my family but I treasure my time with Zach. For practically 7 years it was just him and I.
Well we have an awesome fireplace and Zach has been begging to cook hot dogs over it. Andy has not allowed it because he's too nervous and honestly with 4 boys it is probably a little dangerous. Last nigh though, Mr. Nervous was gone and so Zach and I roasted some weenies. Shhh told tell, it'll be our little secret.

At an attempt to save money on grooming costs, I bought dog trimming stuff. I don't mind her face but her leggs! I cut the hair too short. Oh well atleast i'll learn for next time ;) I am painting on a dog t-shirt to make her cute again.

Yippee

It has been awhile since I posted on this blog but I actually enjoy the layout and look better so I found a way to post via my phone~ Yippee! So I will be back posting on here.

Much needed visit!

I am so excited, I get to visit Virginia- FINALLY! She has lived 3 hours away from me for 7 months and I have yet to see her. Shocking since I have driven 10-20 hours to visit with my very best friend, but now that I have 4 boys, 2 dogs, and a hubby it makes it harder to go.
Zach is on fall break so he gets out Thursday at noon and doesn't have to return until Tuesday. Plus, the boys will be with their mom and Andy will be away on business- perfect timing to catch up with a friend. I can't wait.
